How much do you charge to build a website?
There isn’t one single answer to this question. We build websites based on the needs of each individual project and this is what we quote for. Every website is unique with different components; we design and develop custom websites specifically for each client. We’ll ask a lot of questions, assess your needs, and give you a price quote based on that assessment. Our smallest package starts at £297 on the Wix platform. How long does it take to complete the build of my website?
Our general timeline is 2-8 weeks to complete a website build. This depends on the type of website in the project. How much input can be provided during the initial stages, the feedback recieved and how soon the content is provided – all this can change the speed of completion. The functionality and revisions required will also play a role in the timeline.
Do I have to be in the UK to work with you?
No! We work with clients all over the world and can communicate by email, scheduled calls and Zoom meetings.
Will I be able to update and change the website myself when it's done?
Yes! With Wix and WordPress you will have access to the backend of your website. Making simple text updates, photograph changes, new products and pricing can easily be changed on your own. However, we do recommend a professional to complete more complex changes. With Jamstack it will depend on the type of site created, there are CMS’s out there (like WordPress) that can run on this architecture. We can provide hourly training at £57 per hour if you are interested in learning how to navigate through the backend to make minor updates independently.
What happens if I require more than the set amount of revisions?
You may have a team or partner which can sometimes lead to more than one vision. At times, you may have ideas that come to mind upon your discussions that come up mid-process. In that case, big changes may occur to the designs we’ve achieved thus far. If you require additional changes or concepts to create beyond the set amount of revisions – we charge an hourly rate of £57 per hour. This will be presented to you upon a discussion of the additional changes/designs requested for approval prior to proceeding with those extra hours.
Will you maintain my website for me?
This is 100% up to you. We offer monthly plans to perform maintenance, provide extra security and create content (pages, articles, blog posts etc.) for client’s websites. You can choose a plan to suit you. This is not mandatory and you can contact us when you require updates and changes to your website and we will provide an hourly rate quote based on your requests.
Do you provide hosting and domain registration?
Yes we do have a hosting service charged at £157 per year. We advise our clients go directly to domain registrar’s for their domain names, we recommend GoDaddy and NameCheap. However we can register a domain and transfer it to your chosen account for a small fee of £17.
Will my website be mobile friendly? (Responsive)
Absolutely! Having a mobile friendly website is more important than ever! We work hard to ensure your website is responsive on modern devices and browsers.
How much input do I have / is expected of me for the website?
As much or as little as you want! Your input and feedback can be crucial to the website design and development process. We’ll start by asking a lot of questions about your needs, your likes, your wants and work with you to develop just the right look and functionality. We also like you to provide sample websites before we begin your project. Then at each revision stage you’ll have an opportunity to provide further input and feedback. Think of us as your extened team who look forward to hearing your ideas.
Who writes the text / content for the website?
We recommend that the client provide the text content for your website. They are the expert when it comes to their business and industry, it will always read best if it comes from them. We have a copywriter on the team who will clean up and advise on the sales copy as part of the package. If you’d prefer our copywriter to write all original content there will be an additional cost of £57 per hour.
What if I need help with my website in the future?
We are always only a phone call or email away. We are here to help as much or as little as you need. Whether you choose to take up one of our monthly plans to support your website or as and when you require assistance.
Is SEO included with my website?
Our website packages come with basic on site SEO and Advanced on site SEO. Meaning all of our websites are set up to perform well for search engines. However results in SERPs are best achieved with off site SEO. We offer a range of packages charged at an hourly rate for monthly SEO and an SEO booster package to start off.
